Repair & replacement

Roofing software that quotes, schedules and invoices

A roof is the biggest check most homeowners write all year. Send the quote with photos, get it signed with a deposit, keep following up until it is a yes or a no, and show the next prospect the roofs you did on their street.

The day-to-day

Three things that go wrong — and what happens instead

Quote follow-ups

A $15,000 quote sits in an inbox and nobody calls it.

Sent quotes get a follow-up after N days, a second one if you want it, and a nudge when they pass their valid-until date — automatically. The list shows sent, viewed and approved, and the sales pipeline tracks the storm-season deals from lead to signed.

E-sign & deposits

The homeowner says yes and the materials go on your card.

The customer signs the quote online — draw or type, agree it is their signature — and pays the deposit in the same step. Payment plans split the balance; each payment posts to the same invoice.

Install map & warranties

"Have you done one near me?"

Tag finished jobs and they become pins on the install map. Type the prospect's address and share the nearest examples — product tag, street and city, no house numbers, no names. Warranties are logged on the job so the callback three years later starts from the record.

Day one

What you can do on day one

Every item is a screen you can open the day you sign in.

  • Import your customer list from a spreadsheet or your old app.
  • Save your replacement and repair quotes as templates with per-square lines.
  • Require a deposit on the quote, as a percent or a fixed amount, collected when they approve.
  • Turn on automatic quote follow-ups, so nobody has to remember to chase.
  • Tag your last few finished roofs so they show on the install map.
  • Build a job checklist your crew ticks off in the field, with a customer sign-off at the end.
  • Send an invoice and take a card payment online from the link — bank transfer, check and cash are recorded when they arrive.

Signed with a deposit. Followed up until it is a yes.

Quote, sign, deposit, install, warranty — and a map of the roofs you did.

Questions

Roofing FAQ

Can the customer sign and pay a deposit online?

Yes. They open the quote link, sign, agree it is their electronic signature and pay the deposit; the signed agreement is kept on the record and in their client hub. E-sign approvals are on Pro and above.

How do the follow-ups work?

You choose the days. A sent quote nobody answered gets one nudge, optionally a second, and one when it passes its valid-until date. Each fires at most once, and stops the moment the customer approves or declines.

What does the install map share?

A page with pins for your tagged, finished jobs near an address — the product tag, the street and city, and a pin rounded to about a block. Never a name or a house number.

Do you handle insurance paperwork?

No — there is no insurance-claim workflow. Attach the documents to the job and use the notes; the quote prints or saves as a PDF from its link, and the signed agreement is kept as one.

Do you send me leads?

Yes, if you want them. Homeowners post jobs in the Hire-a-Pro marketplace; jobs matched to your trade and service area land in your Requests queue with no per-lead fee. Local leads are included on the Business plan, or you can add the Local Leads module to Starter or Pro for $49/mo.

Which plan do I need?

Starter covers the CRM, scheduling and calendar, quotes and invoices, the customer email inbox, the time clock, free CRM import and the mobile app. Pro adds the client portal, e-sign approvals, the dispatch board, GPS time clock, marketing automation, reviews, job costing, payment plans and the website builder. Business adds accounting with bank feeds, sales tax, payroll, the sales pipeline, the ads manager and local leads. Prices are on the pricing page.

Does it work on a phone in the field?

Yes. It runs full-size in any browser on your computer, and on a phone it installs to the home screen straight from the browser. Same account, same data, whichever you pick up.

Can I bring my customers and quotes with me?

Yes. Import clients, quotes and inventory from spreadsheets or the app you are leaving. It is included on every plan, and your data stays exportable afterwards.

Ready to close the big ones without chasing?

The quote follows up. The customer signs. The deposit lands.
